Build a Better Intranet with Mark Morrell – 1.4

Published by Rachel Folz on

In the early nineties, Intranet trailblazers like Ford, Sun Microsystems, British Telecom, and Boeing built their internal sites to make it easier to share information inside organizations and to remove barriers to success.

This episode’s guest, Mark Morrell, was there for the birth of the intranet. He brought British Telecom, now known as BT, online with a staff intranet in the 1990s.

Now Mark is the Intranet Pioneer. He helps organizations make their Intranets more engaging and productive.

In this episode, Mark shares how to get your intranet in line with organizational objectives, how to increase usage, and how to uncover what sensitive data you may be accidentally exposing.

If you’d like more of Mark’s sage intranet wisdom, you can check out his book, “Digital Success or Digital Disaster,” on his website, IntranetPioneer.com.

We also want to thank Intranet Focus for their history of intranet report, which we consulted heavily for this episode.
